Privacy Policy

[Company Legal Name — set LEGAL_COMPANY_NAME] ("we," "us") operates SparkoBox, a live request-and-tipping platform for in-person performers. This page explains what we collect from performers and audience members, and why.

Audience members

You can browse a show, join with a QR code, chat, and send free requests without ever creating an account. An account (via Google sign-in) is only offered to you the moment you choose to add money to a wallet or keep your credits across visits — never earlier. If you top up a wallet, we also collect a contact email for receipts, and a hashed (not raw) copy of your IP address and browser identifier for fraud and chargeback evidence. We never ask for a government ID, passport, or date of birth.

Performers

Performers sign in with a real Google account, which gives us your name, email, and profile photo. We store your catalog, show history, and a full history of what you earned per performance, including the platform fee withheld and any promotional credit applied.

Payments

A third-party payment processor handles your card details directly — we only ever keep a processor-issued token and a display string like "Visa ····4242," never your card number or CVV.

How long we keep things

Chat messages and similar in-show activity are short-lived and cleaned up after the show. Financial records — transactions and the ledger entries behind a wallet balance or a performer's earnings — are kept permanently and, by design, can never be edited or deleted, including by us, once written. One consequence of that: once a performance has any earnings credited against it, the records tied to it can never be deleted, even if the account is later closed.

Who we share data with

Only the vendors that make the Service work: our payment processor, Google (to verify a sign-in), and our hosting/database infrastructure providers. We do not sell personal data.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children. Age is not currently independently verified by this product beyond the venue's own admission policy — this is a known open item, not a claim that it's solved.

Your choices

Contact us at [set LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL] to ask about the data we hold on you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA — a jurisdiction-specific rights process is not yet published here and needs to be finalized before this policy is relied upon for those regions.
